The AOWN contracts with units of local government for the provision of HOMEMAKER/CHORE services. Currently this service provision is not available throughout the Panhandle of Nebraska, only for the areas listed.
HOMEMAKER is defined as providing assistance to persons having difficulty in doing light housework inside the home. It could include dusting, vacuuming, general pickup, making beds, clearing counter, dish washing, and basic routine cleaning.
CHORE is defined as providing assistance to persons having difficulty with heavy housework, yard work or sidewalk snow maintenance.
